Ten National Parks For Your Bucket List
Wouldn't it be great to say that you've visited all 59 national parks? Wouldn't it be better to not only visit, but to have the time to explore, hike, and camp in all of them? It sounds like a dream, and is definitely a dream worth pursuing.
Lake Clark National Park, Alaska
North Cascades National Park, Washington
Redwood National Park, California
Channel Islands National Park, California
I visited one of the Channel Islands when I was in sixth grade, Anacapa Island. It was as if we time traveled, all was quiet other than the waves lapping against the rocks. A rowdy bunch of 90 pre-teens were stilled by the beauty.
Great Basin National Park, Nevada
Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado
We may visit this park in the summer on our way to see family. We'd loved to see Medano Lake and the beautiful wispy dunes.
Guadalupe Mountains National Park, Texas
Big Bend National Park, Texas
Isle Royale National Park, Minnesota
Congaree National Park, South Carolina
It's time to load the van, hop in, and hit the road, and don't forget the hiking sticks! There is endless beauty to explore.
